Accessibility statement
Last updated: October 2, 2026
We want Par Sheet to work for everyone who runs a kitchen, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, voice control, magnification or a high-contrast display. This page says what we aim for, how we check, and what to do if something gets in your way.
What we aim for
We aim for our website (parsheet.app) and the Par Sheet app (parsheet.app/app) to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we do about it
- Every change to the site is scanned automatically against WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, across every page, sign-in step and app screen, in light and dark mode. A failed scan is fixed before we move on.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard. Dialogs keep keyboard focus inside them, and focus returns to where you were when you close them.
- Text meets the contrast ratios WCAG asks for, in both light and dark mode, and the pages work at 320 pixels wide and when zoomed to 200%.
- Form fields have labels, errors are announced, and animation stops if your device is set to reduce motion.
What we can’t promise
- Automated scanning finds many problems but not all of them. We have not had a third-party accessibility audit.
- Square’s approval page and Stripe’s checkout and billing pages are run by those companies, so their accessibility is theirs. Par Sheet links out to them when you connect a register or pay.
- The USDA FoodKeeper shelf-life data inside the app is third-party content and is shown as we receive it.
Tell us if something doesn’t work
If you can’t use part of Par Sheet, or you need information in another form, email support@parsheet.app. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within two business days and to fix the problem or give you another way to do the task as quickly as we can.
